Picture of the Parliament Hall taken before the parliament assembly postponed the plenary session in which Ludovic Orban and his government should get the confidence vote, at the Parliament Palace headquarters, in Bucharest, Romania, 24 February 2020. Orban, the leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL), was nominated on more time as the new designated prime minister by the Romanian president Klaus Iohannis, after the last government, led by Ludovic Orban, was toppled by a no-confidence vote in parliament in February 2020. The Constitutional Court of Romania ruled on Monday that there is a legal conflict between the president and the Parliament regarding the appointment of PNL leader Ludovic Orban as prime minister for the second time. Orban cabinet stays in charge as a interim cabinet, until a new government will be validated by the parliament. The leader of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu (not pictured), president of the Chamber of Deputies, announced that there is no quorum needed to carry out the work, out of 465 MPs, with only 188 having registered their presence. The presence of 233 parliamentarians was required to vote the Orban Government II. EPA-EFE/,Image: 500728146, License: Rights-managed, Restrictions: , Model Release: no
